The Great Counterfeiter
of the World
A great counterfeit item is a lie copied from the genuine article. Another term for a counterfeit is a forgery; both definitions are describing ways for a man to deceive one another. The lies created by masters of deceit are nearly indistinguishable from the actual creation.
Sometimes it’s only a small defect that offers a clue that giving it away. Really good forgeries are so perfect in detail they can be nearly impossible to detect by an untrained eye. It takes the experienced eye of a professional to discern the subtleties between the real and the fake.
Counterfeiters, in times past, have created money for ill-gotten gain. In fact, you may have unknowingly had a counterfeit bill passed to you by a store for change; then you passed it on to someone else.
The master counterfeiters may see millions of their fakes passed into society before they’re discovered, but eventually, their fakes are unveiled by the light of truth.
Years of training in detecting frauds are normally required, or a special set of tools or identifiers is required for the professional, like a mark that can react to the ink on a counterfeit bill. More aggressive testing may be required for the more perfect copies, like analyzing brushstrokes on a painting or doing a chemical analysis of the paints or inks.
The truth is, master counterfeiters aren’t your average everyday folks; they are very clever and talented in most cases. They have the willingness to deceive anyone for many reasons. The gain may be money, power, or just the satisfaction of knowing they can replicate a masterpiece that can pass as the genuine article.
Famous paintings are sometimes copied by great aspiring artists, which can only be detected by the best experts in the field of art as being counterfeits. Sometimes it’s the canvas they use or the paint composition; it might be as simple as a brushstroke that is the giveaway.
As I said earlier, counterfeiters come in all sizes and shapes and do what they do for many reasons. Nations at war with one another will devalue their enemy’s society with counterfeit money to cripple that nation’s currency.
In WWII, Nazi Germany did just that to destabilize Allied governments and provide much-needed cash for their war effort. Jewish concentration camp prisoners were made to forge ₤600 million worth of British pounds sterling – worth a staggering $6 billion in today’s currency.
It’s not just money and paintings; its shoes, handbags, clothing, electronics, DVD’s, and a host of other products.
They do this to make a few bucks, undermine our industries, or simply to circumvent the law.
Now, if men will go to these kinds of lengths to nieve and perpetuate a farce on unsuspecting people or even society as a whole, what do you think Satan will do to achieve his goals?
Satan is called by Christ our Messiah the deceiver and the father of lies in:
John 8:44,You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
This is the fallen angel known by the Devil, Satan, Abaddon, or Lucifer, and he is the greatest counterfeiter of all times; he is the master of deceit.
He has convinced the world they know what the Messiah looks like, and why He came to earth as a human. Most folks believe they know hoe the Messiah dressed, the time of the year the Messiah was born, and even how He died. Most people in this world feel they are one hundred percent sure; they know what they know about their Savior, and they’re not going to be duped by anything different.
Satan has created fakes that are totally believable, packaged, and sold as the real thing just so folks will have that attitude. Those same folks aren’t aware Satan has created fakes that represent himself as well as Jesus.
I could hold up a photo of a man with long, flowing hair and beard, soft eyes, wearing a robe and carrying a shepherd’s crook; and I could ask a hundred folks on the street who the image represented; almost every person would give the same answer, Jesus the Christ. Without hesitation, or given any other clues, they would identify that image with their beloved Savior. Most likely, they have the same model or another one, perhaps slightly different hanging on a wall somewhere in their home.
Another depiction I would hold up is of a creature that is depicted with horns, a forked tail, and wearing a red bodysuit; he would also have a pointy mustache and perhaps be standing in the middle of a pool of fire.
Asking the same folks as before to identify this image, I would most likely hear from them it’s an image of Satan the Devil.
I could then ask anyone on the street which is Jesus and which is Satan, and they would point to the one with the beard and flowing hair as Jesus, and the one with horns and forked-tail as Satan.
Most people in this world are taught to believe those are the true and accurate representations of these beings; furthermore, we want to believe they are true because it gives us a semblance of comfort.
Putting a face on good and evil helps us cope with life and its ups and downs. If we have someone to blame or point a finger towards, like Satan, when our world goes haywire, somehow that helps us get past the bad.
In the same way, when good things happen in our lives, do we attribute them to blessings we receive from the God we love and the one we identify with or give ourselves credit?
Sadly, this is only the beginning of Satan’s lies and a significant way he deceives the world.
Satan is a counterfeiter opposed to everything godly, but he wants to be seen as the real thing to the world. He has duplicated God at every turn, and I’ll expose his world to you if you are willing to see it.
So, back to my first statement, a counterfeit is a lie copied from the genuine item, it’s a fake, a fraud, a deception. It says in Revelations, Satan has fooled the whole world.
Rev. 12:7-9, 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
It says he has deceived the whole world: not a small part of the world, not just one or two religions, or three, but THE WHOLE WORLD. Please tell me, what religion isn’t deceived by Satan; is it the one you belong to? If you really believe that, then tell me and the world what you and your fellow congregants are doing that is all that different from other churches.
Let’s look a little deeper at the deceptions Satan has perpetrated on the world.
First thing we need to ask, when did this begin? We know when the first lie was; it’s documented in our scriptures.
Genesis 3:4-5, 4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Man has believed that lie since the day Satan spoke those words to Eve. Many religions in today’s world teach man/woman is born with an immortal soul. People of all faiths and backgrounds believe when we die, our souls go straight to one of two places, heaven or hell, or some version of the two. What the world ignore is scriptures like:
John 3:13, 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
I call it the Satan factor; Satan’s lies are more desirable, more fun, and more dazzling than the actual truth.
The problem is the Bible doesn’t say anywhere in the scriptures that we are born with an immortal soul, nor does it say we go to heaven when we die, but those are subjects for another book at another time.
Satan’s fooling the world isn’t a one-time thing from his bag of tricks. He has been on the job since day one, and he is extremely good at what he does.
Now, let’s go back to the part about what Satan looks like. Are you aware the Bible doesn’t describe satan the way he is portrayed by books and movies? NOT AT ALL, just the reverse is true. He is depicted as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15, 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Did Satan change into the monster depicted by movies and books, from his first appearance on earth? Or, is the real truth, we’ve been deceived by ugly depictions of him meant to scare us into submission.
Satan is also described in Ezekiel as once being perfect, but sin was found in him, and he was evicted from heaven.
Ezekiel 28:15-17, 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.
16 “By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned;
Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones.
17 “Your heart waslifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings,
That they might gaze at you.
Satan continues to deceive; even with all our knowledge and technology today, he is still able to pull the wool over man’s eyes. In my humble opinion, because of our technology, he can deceive better than he ever could before. Satan has been deceiving man from the beginning of time, and man continues to allow it to happen.
Rejection of God in our daily lives, schools, and society as a whole, has made man more susceptible to a counterfeit religion and a counterfeit god. If we don’t believe there is a real God, the counterfeit can make you believe anything, even in atheism.
In the garden of Eden, Satan told the only two humans alive at the time, that they too could become like their creator; they could become like God.
That desire was planted in man and hasn’t subsided since the very beginning; humans still want to believe there is another way to become like God, other than following His true will.
Satan has had his own plan to accomplish, thwarting the will of the true God and supplanting his own version of truth and a type of godly authority. His way of doing things is to cause chaos and confusion, and in the process blinding the world to who and what he really is and wants. In Isaiah, we can see this spelled out for us.
Isaiah 14:12-15, 12 “How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
13 For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.
The very first thing I want to point out is, Satan has a throne that mimics the true God’s. He wants to place his throne above God’s; we saw that in the last scripture we read in Isaiah 14:13, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
Everything Satan does mimics God’s ways and truths down to the most delicate details, but he doesn’t consider himself a counterfeiter, that’s what makes him more dangerous. Satan truly believes he is offering an alternative to the real God of this the world.
Satan’s Church
Satan has his own churches; they exist for those that follow the system of worship he has put into place. No one believes they are worshiping in one of satan’s congregations; if they did, they would stop going immediately. The problem is, as Christians, we could walk into one of these churches and feel perfectly normal, nothing would seem to be out of place or odd.
Most honest folks wouldn’t unknowingly pass fake money. As long as they believe what is in their wallets is genuine, they won’t have second thoughts about passing the cost along…. same goes for Satan’s churches.
People hate the figure called Satan; the problem is, they aren’t aware of what is going on. People don’t understand what Satan is trying to do, they think they do, but they simply don’t understand. They don’t realize he wants you to hear the lies while not comprehending; they are lies. In his churches, he expects his worshipers to defend his lies and give their lives for his lies.
Don’t be deceived because Satan’s churches do exist, and God’s people sternly warned not to take part in their worship or having anything to do with them.
Revelation 2:8-9, 8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write,
‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: 9 “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.’”
A synagogue is the same thing as a church; it’s a place to study scriptures and teach and worship, but a synagogue is Jewish terminology. Both words imply there are counterfeits of God’s holy congregations; they look real, they feel real, even sound real, but they’re counterfeits of God’s church.
The Congregants
Who sits in the pews of Satan’s churches? Who are these men and women? I can tell you this, Satan wants the most intelligent, brightest, richest, most affluent from among the people; because most folks simply want to belong to the churches, they were brought up to believe are the real deal. No one goes to the church they love thinking they belong to Satan’s church; they wouldn’t attend if they did.
The presence of time-honored traditions has a tendency to breed complacency giving credence to a lukewarm church with people too busy to find the truth for themselves. People love to feel good and be in large groups of like-minded people, that’s only a natural compulsion.
They also desire tradition to the point of ignoring God and seek to fill the void with worldly festivals. They are the lukewarm congregations warned about in
Revelation 3:15-19, 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.”
Satan worshipers give homage to a false god because, in their hearts, they genuinely believe they’re worshiping the real God in one of his real churches. They will see him as their spiritual authority, and his churches are the genuine place to go. We are taught this is the way from the time we first hear the words: God, church, or Jesus.
The world is full of mainstream beliefs, and on the surface are more popular and more beautiful traditions and ceremonies; it’s the Satan factor; it’s purely designed for deception.
Revelation 13:4, 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
And why not, Satan has a kingdom, yes, a kingdom, just like our Savior’s kingdom. A kingdom with a king, who oversees a vast realm. He gives out power and responsibilities to those that follow him and his servants.
Luke 11:18-20, 18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub. 19 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. 20 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
On the other hand, God’s true followers are far different from Satan’s simply by this description of them.
John 10:27-28, 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
They are the poor, the outcast, the persecuted, and demonized. They’re the folks that are snubbed by the world and considered the weird and outcasts. Ask yourself, when was the last time you went to a church full of people like that? Have things really changed that much for God’s people, or are they still pretty much the same?
1 Corinthians 1:26-31, 26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”
God chose the weak in His day, and the disciples followed suit, and in today’s world, God is still using the same pattern He used 2,000 years ago.
Hebrews 13:8-9, 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.
In Satan’s world, and his churches, these same people are hated and despised. One should ask why that is? It seems odd that God’s faithful followers would be treated this way. Why does it say, the same world that is deceived hates God’s people? Is this referring to Jews or someone else in today’s world, or are these the folks that do something different from the rest of the world?
John 15:18-23, 18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also.
Ministers
It doesn’t end there, Satan’s churches have ministers: men whom Christians would feel perfectly normal speaking with about spiritual or personal matters. Any decent Christian would gladly sit and listen to a spiritual message from one of these ministers. They would have them in their homes for a meal after a worship service. People would ask for baptism from the congenial looking men.
People by the millions, even billions, would do all of this because they look and act like the real deal, they sound right in what they say, and they work the way you might think a minister should act like, but please don’t take my word for it, read it for yourself.
2 Corinthians 11:12-15, 12 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
They transform themselves into men of righteousness, into men of God, but they work for Satan. One might ask, how can that possibly be? How can men that appear to be trustworthy with seemingly all the authority of the true God walk among and teaching God’s people? It seems inconceivable, but the scriptures don’t lie, men lie, satan lies, but God doesn’t.
They’re here among us in disguise; you can’t simply look at them and recognize who and what they are, or what they think or even believe.
It is for that very reason, in our churches, we advocate strongly people checkout our words spoken from the pulpit. We say so folks can see for themselves if they align with scripture, doing otherwise is being a lazy Christian and makes one subject to deception from false doctrine.
Traditions and Doctrine
So, like the best counterfeit painting, you can’t see the subtle differences on the surface without a vigorous investigation.
Masters of deceit know how to disguise the truth because they know one sure way is to cover their tracks using the traditions of men.
Long-standing traditions of man create a haze obscuring God’s facts from the consciousness of men. The Messiah spoke about that concerning the traditions of the Pharisees and Sadducees in His time.
Matthew 15:1-9, Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, 2 “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”
3 He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— 6 then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:
8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
9 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”
They put the doctrine and teachings of man above the true doctrine of our creator. They willingly dismiss God’s words as antiquated or un-necessary for spiritual value. God’s words are His words, not ours to play with, not man’s, not even angels to pervert or discard in place of traditions.
We are told the doctrine delivered to us by the Messiah and through His laws and Psalms are what we should follow. His disciples used those very words to describe the Old Testament doctrine because that was all they had to refer to. The New Testament didn’t exist at the time of Jesus and His disciples; they used teachings and scriptures from the OLD TESTAMENT!
The disciples called it the gospel because it was good news for the world; God’s holy salvation was open to all, not just the Hebrews, but even the newcomers to the good news couldn’t keep themselves immune from Satan’s attacks and his deceptions.
Galatians 1:6-9, 6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
Even if an angel from heaven brings you a gospel, then he is accursed, and if you follow that doctrine, then you too are accursed.
We know of at least two major religions that base their doctrine upon the words of an angel. I won’t mention any names, but one should wonder in light of these verses if they are truly teaching the word of God or a false doctrine of angels.
This is very important, so important, we aren’t even supposed to allow false doctrine into our homes. In 2nd John, it says: 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
A false doctrine, being brought to you by a friend or even an angel, has only one purpose, to deceive. Do you want to be deceived? I’ve had people say to me, “Don’t tell me the truth because I will become responsible for what I hear.”
They are essentially saying they don’t want a genuine relationship with the true God; they like their life mired with false teachings and traditions like seasonal holidays.
Holy Days vs. Holidays
I may find real resistance with this section. It seems no matter what I do or how hard I try to explain about man’s traditions and holidays, I get the same old fashion feedback: it’s for the children, and I don’t want to deprive my children of these wonderful memories.
Just for a moment, try and look at it this way. If I was Satan and I wanted to obscure the truth of God’s Holy Days, I would create a time of the year that was so alluring, it would be almost impossible to turn people from it.
But wait, that’s precisely what Satan did, he created Christmas. “But wait again, isn’t that the day Jesus was born, on December the 25th?” a question surely you’re asking yourselves.
Well, NO! For the one-millionth time, December 25th isn’t Christ’s day of birth; NOWHERE, in the Bible, does it give a date when Christ was born. If you dare read between the lines of Bible verses, you’ll see, it was next to impossible for Christ to have been born at that time of the year.
The shepherds were in the fields with their flocks; they didn’t have sheep in the fields in Israel during that time of the year, especially if it was the latter part of December. It’s familiar knowledge people were commanded to go to their birthplaces purposes of a census; they didn’t do that in Israel at that time of the year. Not even the Romans wanted to be out in the winter weather while a census was being conducted.
There’s just no evidence Christ was born anywhere near that time of the year, but December 25th does hold a considerable significance for Satan. There was a Roman Festival in the time of Christ called Saturnalia; it took place between December 17th and 23rd and honored the Roman god Saturn. “Dies Natalis Solis Invicti” means “birthday of the unconquered sun” and was held on December 25th (when the Romans thought the Winter Solstice took place) and was the “birthday” of the Pagan Sun god Mithra.
The Egyptian solar deity Horus, who was said to have been born of a virgin on December 25th or the Winter Solstice has a significant connection to the celebration. Other pagan sun gods were also believed to be worshiped on or about December the 25th; it was a prevalent celebration of the returning sun, long before Christ was ever born.
Christ didn’t bother to give us his birthdate; we don’t have His birth certificate, and we have no way of knowing the day or month He truly was born. Simply plugging Christ into a specific day because it will tend to legitimize the event is doing the work for Satan. Which man and satan have been doing from the beginning of time. It’s beyond incredible we can still lend ourselves to believing in fairy tales, especially with all the knowledge in libraries and in books to do simple, basic research on the origins of Christmas. Once again, it’s the Satan factor at play; Satan is trying to conceal a truth with a lie, and remember, the real Satan doesn’t make ugly, horrible copies; he makes something just as desirable as the real deal.
What is Satan trying to cover up? Why create such an elaborate ruse? Could it be to distract from the actual times of the year we are to celebrate God, which are the days our creator set aside for man to worship Him on?
In Leviticus chapter 23, it says: And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.
These are the days given by God to all peoples, Jew and Gentile alike, to honor Him as God. Do people today keep and honor these days? The answer is, millions do every year. Every year, men and women of all races and nationalities around the world attend one of God’s feast sites to observe His holy feast days.
There are hundreds if not thousands of locations around the world where these days are honored; places where God has placed His holy name as it says in,
Deuteronomy 16:11, 11 You shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are among you, at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide.
Some have shown these passages to their ministers and have been told, those are strictly Jewish days, but that’s not what it says, reread it. God says these are HIS days, not the Jews, Gentiles or Romans or another peoples, they’re His.
So, what is the first holy day He commands man to keep? The 7th day Sabbath, yes, it’s a Holy Day, one to be kept and worshiped on.
Leviticus 23: 3, Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Eternal in all your dwellings.
Jesus also says in Mark 2:27-28, 27 And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
It is also one of the significant identifiers of God’s people, as it says in
Exodus 31:12-17, 12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”
The Sabbath and God’s mark on His people has been counterfeited by something that looks like the real deal; it’s been replaced by, you guessed it, SUN-Day. God’s day and His mark is replaced by a different day and mark that Satan choose. A mark mentioned in,
Revelation 13:16-17, 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The day the world believes Christ rose from the tomb; therefore, we are now supposed to honor Christ by disobeying Him. The truth to that myth is, Christ didn’t rise from the tomb on Sunday; that to was a lie.
Read it for yourself, John chapter 20, beginning in verse 1: Now the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
You can read other accounts of this event, but they say the same thing. Mary got to the tomb before the sun rose and found the tomb empty. So, when did Christ rise from the dead? When did He emerge from the tomb?
No one really knows for sure, except it was before sunrise on the first day of the week.
My suspicion is, it was at sunset on the Sabbath, the end of the Sabbath day, as the light of the sun disappeared under the horizon. But wait, how can that be, you ask? Wasn’t Christ buried on Friday right after sunset? If that was true, He would only be in the tomb for 24 hours at the most, doesn’t match what Jesus Himself said in:
Matthew 12:39-40, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
So how did we get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday to Sunday morning, to begin with? The only way is to be a deceptive, short, and simple answer.
God’s way is to recognize the Holy Days mentioned before as your guide. The Hebrew culture then wasn’t anything like middle America in the 21st century. We tend to look at everything biblically, skewed in the light of our own experiences and what we know.
In Jesus’ days and time in Jerusalem, the Jewish population kept Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread (Read Lev. chapter 23); the assumption is in middle America that Christ was crucified and buried on the Sabbath preparation day of that week. That is only partially true because there were two Sabbaths and two preparation days that week of Christ’s crucifixion.
Every Sabbath has a preparation day before the Sabbath; the extra Sabbath was a high day that week, and it fell on Thursday, but since they had no watches, then the day always began on the evening before, not midnight like today.
Wednesday was the preparation day for the Sabbath, (High Day) read John 19:31, 31 Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
Friday would have been a second preparation day; the time Mary and the other women needed to buy and prepare the spices for the body of Christ.
So, Christ was buried at sundown on Wednesday and rose of the weekly Sabbath (Saturday), hence 3 days and 3 nights.
That is a long way around explaining why Sunday is kept and not the seventh-day sabbath, but necessary for the full picture to be presented. Satan has made a mystery out of God’s plan for man by creating fake times and seasons.
Satan has obscured the beautiful picture that the Holydays Go painted for man. They spell out step by step, what He is doing, with man in mind. What the Messiah and the Father in heaven have set into motion from the beginning of creation is played out every year in the day’s God’s people observe throughout the year. Satan has gone to extraordinary measures to cover up everything about God’s Holy observances. He has even gone as far as to duplicate the Holy Spirit in a very elaborate way to cover up God’s spirit’s true identity.
Holy Spirit
There is a spirit in this world at work every second of every day. In fact, there are two spirits at work; there is God’s Holy Spirit, and there is Satan’s counterfeit that most believe is the third person in a godly triune.
Satan has been able to make the world accept the idea that the spirit he has brought into the world is the third personage of God’s holy person.
But once again, we can look back and see where the train left the tracks, so to speak. There have been trinity in every religion going back to ancient Babylon.
According to ancient records, Nimrod married his own mother, who was Semiramis. She was the queen of Babylon and the beginning of satan’s counterfeit religion. Human perversion in the form of incest was used by Semiramis to unite a brand-new religious system. Nimrod and his mother/wife were the first to be copied by satan to blind millions of people who only wanted to honor God. Nimrod was King, Semiramis was Queen, and Tammuz was supposedly Nimrod reincarnated as Nimrod and Semiramis’ son. This was the basis of the first trinity thousands of years before the Messiah walked among men.
The Egyptians had its trinity as well, Isis-Osiris-Horus, same pattern, different names. In fact, nearly every pagan religion in that area had a triune in their godhead. So why would Christianity be any different?
Before we can say there is a trinity in the true Godhead, we must answer a few nagging questions.
The gospel of Matthew tells us something disconcerting. It tells us Mary of Nazareth became pregnant with the infant Jesus, and the angel Gabriel appeared to the troubled Joseph – to whom she was betrothed – and told him not to be concerned, “that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.”
If Jesus of Nazareth was, as the Christian church asserts, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, he was “begotten” by a member of his own family, the Holy Ghost. Sounds a whole lot like the incestual relationship Semiramas had with her own son in the Babylonian religion.
The Apostle’s Creed states, all the members of the Trinity are co-equal and co-eternal. If that is the case, then how can Jesus be equal with any other members?
The Father, for instance, is unmistakably the senior of the three, and the Son and the Holy Ghost are subject to his will. Jesus always differed to the personage of the Father as the ultimate authority. He called Him Father, so you have to say there is a Father, Son, and sexual interloper in the form of the Holy Spirit that makes up the triune in the Christian beliefs.
Another troubling aspect of this, if Jesus is, in fact, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father, why isn’t He mentioned in the Old Testament other than future prophecies?
If the Holy Spirit was an actual entity as some insist, why wasn’t that divne being acknowledged in greetings in many of the letters by the apostles. In fact, most read just like the scripture below in one fashion or another.
2 Corinthians 1:2, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Here is the beginning of first John, it’s a real eye-opener.
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
Absolutely no mention of the Holy Spirit, why not? Isn’t the spirit of God a co-equal according to so many in the mainstream religions?
It’s a fake, a counterfeit, a deception designed to steal your faith away. That artificial spirit that mimics the genuine spirit of God does nothing for man; its only function is to cover up the real power of God’s Holy Spirit working in His people.
So, if there is a spirit that comes from Satan, and not from God, then it is a different spirit as it says in:
2 Corinthians. 11:4, For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!
So, this may be an excellent reason it’s dismissed in the greetings of the Apostles. It appears many things aren’t as they seem in this world, and the world is being denied knowing the true God. Satan has done an excellent job masking who he is and what he is about. Perfect contrast with the fake and the real, or to the genuine oppesed to the counterfeit.
Father, Son, and the law.
Many people in the world today believe they know who and what Jesus is, and who the Father is. Wrongly they think the Father was the God of the Old Testament, and Jesus came to do away with much of what the Father had mistakenly put into place. But, Jesus said something people can’t seem to get their minds to wrap around.
John 1:14-18 NKJV: 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”
16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
WHAT? What did the verses just say?
No one has seen God, only Jesus who is AT THE FATHER’S SIDE, WOW!
What’s going on here? Especially in the light of these next verses, we need to get an idea of who we are dealing with.
John 5:36-38, But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. 37 And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. 38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe.
This is very troubling when you consider God spoke personally with Noah, Abraham, Joshua, Moses, and several others in the Old Testament. So, who was it in the dessert meeting Moses and Israel in the tent flaps of the temple door?
Perhaps this scripture will give us a clue.
1 Corinthians 10:1-5, For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, 2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, 3 and all ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
Here we go, the place where the whole narrative we’ve been brought up to believe begins to unravel. It was Christ, the Messiah who was with Israel in the desert; He was the one who gave Moses the law on Mount Sinai, not the Father.
It doesn’t just say Jesus was the God of the Old Testament; it also means He was the creator.
John 1:1-5, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
If that isn’t enough for you, then you should read this verse in:
Colossians 1:15-20, 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
Are you beginning to see the deception perpetrated on the world today? Very few preachers are teaching this; they only want to demonize the Father, so they can say the Old Testament law is done away with by His son, Jesus.
The truth is, it was Jesus who gave the law to the world, and He has no intention in seeing the law done away, He says in His own words in:
Matthew 5:17-20, 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Not till heaven and earth have passed away will the law of God be done away, and the last time I looked, heaven and earth were still here.
God’s law is for those who are considered His people. If you’re not under the law, then you’re not one of God’s holy people at this time. You are still in the world subject to Satan’s lawlessness. Jesus said in His own words that His people love Him and are willing to follow Him.
John 14:15, “If you love me, l keep my commandments.
The commandments talked about here are the same ones given to Moses on the mountain by Christ, our Savior, not man’s version of the law.
Satan has his own set of rules for the world; they’re not the same as God’s, but they do mimic them closely. They are confusing because we’re led to believe God’s law is done away.
Sin still exists in the world; in fact, churches make their livelihood on dealing with people’s sin, but not the law that identifies sin.
That’s confusing, I know because we are told we have to repent from sin, but at the same time, the law no longer exists. So, perhaps it’s time to ask the question, what is sin? Simply according to the scriptures, sin is the transgression of the law.
1 John 3:4, Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
Where there is no law, there is no sin, NOT my words, but words in your very own personal Bible.
Romans 5:12-13, 12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
If you’re feeling somewhat overwhelmed about now, you are not alone. The world is in total chaos, and they don’t even know why, because they don’t know what they don’t understand.
But Christ said in the letter of John, He was the way. The true Messiah is the way, not the counterfeit.
John 14:6-7,6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
No one can come to Christ except through the Father. Christ tells us to pray to the Father in heaven in the model prayer in Matthew chapter 6, and rightly so because Christ is in the process of planning the next event, His 2nd coming.
Satan presents himself as a father figure to the people of this world, giving them a version of what a father looks like, introducing destructive attitudes, and arrogance in his chosen ministers. Just look at the Pharisees and Sadducees in the time of Jesus.
John 8:38-47, 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”
39 They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.”
Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 You do the deeds of your father.” Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.”
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
Jesus told the religious leaders of His day, they were doing the work of their father (Satan). They didn’t believe they were doing Satan’s work at the time, because their arrogance prevented them from seeing the truth.
We have a denomination in the world today that claims very extraordinary things. They claim their priests can absolve the sins of other men, even the transgression of God’s sacredness. These men are required to be called fathers by their parishioners, something the Bible expressly forbids.
Matthew 23:9, And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.
So, we see some are willing participants to Satan’s fraud. They have their own agendas (I’m not willing to presume to know what all of those are) but clearly, there is much to learn from our Bibles that isn’t being taught from the pulpits.
The Returning King
Satan even promises he will return as a conquering king. His plan is to present himself as the savior of the world, taking on the persona of Christ. He doesn’t hide his intentions; in fact, he makes them crystal clear.
Isaiah 14:14, 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
Satan is like the most high to the world; let me remind you what it says in Revelation 13, “Satan the devil who deceives the whole world.”
In that world, Satan is god, he has created a scenario where the world is expecting certain things based upon the misinterpretation of scripture. Satan will fulfill their expectations while completing his long-term plans to rule creation. The coming of Satan will look like the following verses below. Digging deeper into this verse and see what Satan has and will be doing.
Revelation 6:1-2, Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
The first thing we notice is, this is the seals being opened by the lamb. Who is the lamb? That would be Jesus the Christ, remember what John the baptized called Jesus as He walked towards him at the time of Jesus baptism.
John 1:29, The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
So, it’s Christ that reveals what is going to occur in the end times, and He is showing the world Satan’s plan.
The next thing we notice is this Christ-like figure is coming on a white horse, identical to the portrayal in Revelation Chapter 20, of Christ actual return. The only difference is, this figure is carrying a bow, not a sword. The bow is needs arrows, and arrows may represent the many differing religions, nations, or peoples he has under his rule.
Look at the actual return of Christ prophesied in Revelation 19:11-16, 11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.
This is Christ or Savior, and He will return and set things right, but notice, this being is using a sword, not a bow. Christ is never portrayed with a bow, He is always associated with a sword. His truth is a two-edged sword; we are to carry the spirit of this sword, which is the word of God.
Christ, Himself said He had come to this world with a sword, which represents His righteous judgments.
Matthew 10:34, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth; I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
The last thing we notice about Revelation 6, is the rest of the seals occur after this creature arrives, not before, then there are seven trumpets, seven bowls or vials. The point is, this being shows up at the beginning of troubles, and we have already seen the four horsemen ride across this world in a terrifying display. Just think about the last century’s worldwide wars. Those events alone, saw millions of people perish from disease, war, and famine.
Anyway, you slice the truth, this is a terrifying figure coming disguised as our Savior. We, as Christians, need to recognize, our beliefs may be putting our families and us in real tangible peril.
This figure described in Rev. 6:1 is the counterfeit of Christ, it’s Satan, the devil putting himself in place of the true Messiah. Some may be asking at this point, “How are we supposed to recognize Satan from the real God when he has created such a complete fog in the religious world?
First off, you need to take these verses I’ve just shared to heart and recognize what Satan is attempting to do.
Second, quit believing in men and what they say; don’t even believe me or what I say. Take your own salvation into your own hands, read the scriptures for yourself, and make up your own minds.
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22, 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.
If they say to keep the Sabbath holy and the Sabbath is the seventh day, then follow the seventh-day Sabbath, not the first day of the week. Believe the words of your Savior, not the words of men. If words or verses have to be twisted to fit an agenda or certain traditions, then maybe, you are trying too hard to believe something false. If you are making things up to meet your agendas or customs, are working against God’s will?
Third, recognize the Bible only talks about two churches, Satan’s and Christ’s true church.
Two doctrines, Satan’s and Christ’s, two spirits, two thrones, two sets of laws, two congregations, two ministry’s, and two returning saviors.
One set is true and the real deal, that one identifying the true Messiah, Jesus the Christ. The other is a masterpiece of counterfeit; it belongs to Satan, the devil, bent on deceiving the world.
If God’s religion is the only true one, then all other religions in this world belong to Satan and are fakes. It may seem like a harsh view to see it like that, but it’s the plain and ugly truth; it can be no other way. Seek God and His truth while there is time left to identify the real way of God.
Isaiah 55:6-7, 6 Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
If we seek God with all our hearts and open our minds to Him and His ways, forsaking all other forms of religion, His mercy will be upon us. We will be called his people, and we are subject to His will and will be given salvation.
Romans 9:25-26, 25 As He says also in Hosea:
“I will call them My people, who were not My people,
And her beloved, who was not beloved.”
26 “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’
There they shall be called sons of the living God.”
God’s people can see the fakes in front of them; their eyes have been opened to the deception that has a hold on this world. They can spot the counterfeits, or whether they’re from man’s imagination, which is inspired by satan.
As I said in the beginning, the best counterfeits are the ones that dupe everyone. The best of the best masterpieces sitting right next to the real one indistinguishable by all accounts. The ordinary person on the street can’t quickly tell them apart, it takes a unique eye. An eye that has been opened to the truth of God.
You could be speaking to one of satan’s ministers and not realize it. You could be keeping Satan’s will and never know it.
Just like someone handing you an outstanding fake $20 bill, you’d most likely would never be aware it was fake, and you would spend it willingly with a smile on your face.
Satan doesn’t play fair, we all know that, but most folks don’t understand precisely how unfair he works.
Satan’s ways are devious and treacherous, hidden from plain view, but in plain sight at the same time. Remember, the best place to hide something is right out front; we humans tend to miss the obvious when it comes to religion.
God’s ways are also in plain view within the scriptures, open for the world to see and accept, but Satan has convinced the majority of the world, they aren’t applicable any longer. When you stand before God on judgment day, is it your wants and wishes that will be upheld, or will it be God’s, think about that?
Isaiah 55:8-9, 8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Believe it or not, God does know what He is doing by allowing this to go on, by allowing Satan to deceive the world. For now, God is allowing Satan to do what he does best, but that time will cease one day soon.
There is a promise of God’s kingdom being established here on earth, a place where truth rules, not lies prevail daily.
Revelation 21:1
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
In an exclusive world with God, all the bad will finally be gone. All the lies and confusion will disappear, and the light of our Messiah will shine all around the world.
The Messiah also promises one other thing Satan can’t; He promises us we can rule with Him in His kingdom. Satan would never allow anyone or anything to sit next to him on his throne as a co-equal.
Revelation 3:20-22, If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’”
I know it’s a hard thing to do, to believe that the religion we have known for all of our lives may not be what it appears to be, but one has to take a hard look to be sure it falls within the guidelines of God’s true church.
You can’t rely upon tradition, or the preacher you always trusted. They won’t be there when you stand before our creator and the Father. You will stand there alone, naked and humbled, and God will ask you why?
Perhaps, now is the time to begin to take responsibility for your own faith.
The question I leave all of you with is this:
Are you going to believe the Bible, which has been around for 3,500 years? Or, are you going to continue to follow men, who’ll lead you down a road of lies, just so you’ll be comfortable, paying, and praying in their churches, it’s all about choice.
As I showed in the beginning, the scriptures say, Satan has deceived the whole world. That world is Satan’s world that is deceived. Hopefully, I have done a good job exposing the works of the deceiver of this world. He made his world to fit his agenda; he made it to please the sea of humanity, and it’s one size fits all for the world’s religions.
The Messiah commands His people to come out of that world, avoiding the possiblitiy of being deceived by all the counterfeits Satan has put into place.
John 15:18-21, 18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own.
You can and should be part of God’s holy nation, but that also means you cannot be a part of that world. Leaving the world requires the love of God in your heart and mind.
Matthew 22:37-40, 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Your heart shows your feelings and willingness to be a follower; the mind means you can reason out the truth of God, recognize it as truth, and accept it. Your soul means you’ll give all you have, your entire being, spirit, and body, if necessary.
This is especially hard when the world is telling you to believe the opposite, and believe like they do. There will come a day, in the future, when all will recognize the truth from what it is, and some will regret at that time they didn’t heed the words of the Bible.
Jeremiah 16:19-20, 19 O LORD, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction,
The Gentiles shall come to You
From the ends of the earth and say,
“Surely our fathers have inherited lies,
Worthlessness and unprofitable things.”
20 Will a man make gods for himself,
Which are not gods?
Man has a terrible habit of taking revered men either from the battlefield or the pulpit and making a type of god of them. People then look to them to some kind of manufactured salvation to comfort their own conscience, because they are convinced these men somehow can fix their spiritual issues.
We are told by scripture to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling in Philippians chapter two.
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
As I tell the folks I shepherd, your salvation is your own; I can’t give you salvation; I can’t fix your spiritual problems, I’m not you. I can only affect my own salvation and do the things I need to do to fix my own spirit. I can help you with teachings and pray with you, but ultimately, I have no power over your decisions.
The question is this, are you going to be one of those that ignore the truth of scripture. Don’t believe me, I’m a human just as you are; I command no unique position in this world, but I do own several Bibles, and I read them. Do you read yours? Do you believe yours?
Satan and his church, his doctrine, his spirit, his ministers are here to steer you away from the true God. Don’t be deceived, don’t fall for fake religions of the greatest Counterfeiter.
Conclusion:
Satan has everything God has in his world, except truth.
There are separate worlds, both with Gods where there are:
Two separate Churches:
Two separate Doctrines and Satan presents himself as god over one of these.
Question are you going to believe the deceiver of the world, or are you going to believe the true God?
